Glint VeluxBespoke Tailors

The House · Est. 2025

Measured,
never guessed.

Glint Velux is a bespoke tailoring house in Tampa, Florida. We are young by the calendar and old by method — and we intend to be judged by the cloth, not the year on the door.

The Glint Velux atelier interior: an oak cutting bench running the length of a sunlit room, bolts of cloth stacked on open shelving and a brass tape measure coiled on the bench.

In 2025 we founded Glint Velux around a question that ready-made clothing had stopped asking: what does this person actually do all day? A suit is worn through negotiations and layovers, through Florida heat and cold conference rooms, across the shoulders of the person who commutes and the fifty people who represent one company. We decided every one of those garments deserved to be drafted, not grabbed off a rack.

So we built a house around the tape measure. Twenty-eight measurements per client, kept on file and re-checked at every commission. A separate drafting block for women and for men — never one graded down to fake the other. A cloth library chosen for climate and calendar rather than for the swatch card. And a finishing bench where lapels are padded, sleeves are set and every jacket is pressed by hand before it is allowed to leave.

We are deliberately a small house doing exacting work. That is not a limitation we apologize for — it is the entire point. The name on the label is answerable for the garment on your back.

Our method

The cut comes first.

Fabric forgives very little. A shoulder cut a half-inch wrong cannot be steamed into place, and a chest built without canvas will never breathe with the wearer. So we spend our patience where it counts — on the pattern, the balance and the construction beneath the surface.

What you see is clean and quiet. What holds it there is a hand-padded lapel, a floating canvas and a sleeve set by eye. You feel that difference long before you can name it.

A short history

From bench to house

We keep our own record honestly. This is where we are — and where we are going.

2025

The house is founded

Glint Velux LLC is established in Tampa, Florida, opening a working atelier on Henderson Boulevard with a single cutting bench and a curated cloth library.

2025

Four programs defined

We formalize the four ways we cut a suit — Executive Reserve, Professional Commute, Team & Uniform Programs, and Women's & Men's Bespoke — each with its own construction standard.

2026

Team sizing days go on-site

We begin taking the fitting to the client, running measured sizing days at company offices so organizations can be outfitted without downtime.

Ahead

The reorder ledger

Every commission's specification is archived so new hires, replacements and second garments can be cut to the same house standard — years after the first.

Floor-to-ceiling shelving filled with rolled bolts of suiting cloth in earth tones — olive, camel, charcoal and clay — stacked in tight rows.

The cloth library

Three hundred bunches, chosen for a reason.

We carry merchant bunches from established mills in worsteds, flannels, high-twists and four-season weights. Every cloth in the room earns its place by climate, hand and durability — not by novelty.

  • Full-canvas & half-canvas construction
  • Natural horn & corozo buttons
  • Bemberg linings, hand-finished seams
  • Lifetime alterations on house garments

Meet the house

The best introduction is a fitting.

Come sit at the bench, feel the cloth and tell us how you work. Everything we do begins there.
