Terms &
Client Care
Last updated 17 July 2026 · Effective since 2025
These terms describe how we work together on a commission with Glint Velux LLC. They are written to be read, not endured — because a clear understanding is part of good tailoring. By commissioning a garment you agree to the terms below.
1. Commissions & consultation
Every commission begins with a consultation and measurement, by appointment at our Tampa atelier or at an on-site sizing day. We will confirm the program, cloth, construction details, price and estimated timeline in writing before work begins. A commission is confirmed once you approve that specification and the agreed deposit is received.
2. Deposits & payment
Because each garment is cut to an individual and cannot be resold, a deposit is required to confirm a commission and to reserve your cloth. The balance is due on completion, before or at delivery. Payment is handled through a regulated payment provider; we do not store your card details.
3. Fittings
Bespoke commissions typically include two to three fittings. Your attendance at scheduled fittings is what allows us to perfect the fit; missed or repeatedly rescheduled fittings may extend your timeline. We keep your measurements on file to make future commissions and alterations faster.
4. Timelines
A first bespoke commission usually takes four to six weeks from measurement to delivery; team programs are scheduled around an agreed roll-out. Estimated timelines are given in good faith and may be affected by cloth availability or the number of fittings required. We will keep you informed of any change.
5. Alterations & the house guarantee
We stand behind our work. If a completed garment does not fit as it should because of an error on our part, we will correct it at no charge. Garments made by Glint Velux carry lifetime house alterations for changes in your figure over time; alterations arising from ordinary wear, damage or third-party tailoring are quoted separately.
6. Changes & cancellations
Once cutting has begun, a bespoke garment is unique to you and cannot be cancelled or returned for a refund, as it cannot be resold. If you need to change details, tell us as early as possible — before cutting, most changes are straightforward; afterwards, they may not be possible or may carry a cost. Deposits cover cloth and work already committed and are non-refundable once cutting has begun.
7. Care of your garment
Fine tailoring rewards good care. We recommend resting a suit between wears, brushing rather than over-cleaning, using a proper hanger and pressing with a cloth. Care guidance is provided with every commission, and we are always glad to advise.
8. Team & uniform programs
Team programs are governed by a written agreement covering specification, sizing, roll-out, reorders and invoicing. Individual measurements taken during a program are held so that new hires and replacement garments can be matched to the same house standard.
9. Liability
We accept responsibility for our own workmanship as described above. To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with a commission is limited to the value of that commission. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Hillsborough County, Florida, unless the law requires otherwise.
